Hi! http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

In a thread discussing availability of Dila bulbs at a lower price than factory retail, someone suggested we should take a poll of all Dila owners who frequent this wonderful forum.

I think this new thread can serve at least two nice purposes:

First, that of reuiniting all such owners in a neat and organized manner, sort of providing a Dila club membership list for fun and reference. This way, if we want to know where to look for such information, we wouldn't have it spread all over the forum.

Second, it would also serve as a hall of fame wall for much deserved recognition to some very important people that were involved in making our dreams come true of reproducing the cinema illusion in our homes.

Please list your Dila projector type along with where and when you adquired it. Also, please list any modification you had done to it, such as adding any anamorphic lenses, RB Martin's calibration, Mark Foster's mod pack, Mark Hunter's software, etc. Of course, we can always update our list as we find it necessary.

And Alan, don't worry! This is not an obscure and sinister attempt to unionize your forum to coerce anybody into doing anything our mothers wouldn't be proud of. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

Luca

PS. I gladly leave my Chair status to someone much more worthy of such an honor, such as Mark Foster or other Dila luminaries. Just let me know and I will bow down http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

Using Pioneer DV-09 and picture is OK but not great. I know I have a long way to go to improve the picture quality and hope to enjoy the trip. Thank you AVS for providing this forum. Also, thanks to the many knowedgeable people who post to this forum your information is invaluable.
