I am planning to use the DVI input on my HX2U shortly with the acquisition of Pioneer 59avi (480i HDMI out) and the DVDO scaler (1400x788 HDMI out). I would like to ensure that I successfully bypass all processing/conversion on the projector side with a 1:1 pixel mapping.

Am I best to choose through the menu, the 1:1 resize option or can/should I use any of the other choices available (i.e. panel, zoom, etc)? Any opinion on whether any of these choices are better than others with respect to picture quality? Thanks.

Simply select 1:1 in the menu and you should be all set. Panel will scale the image to fill the entire panel and Aspect will keep your aspect ratio intact. Both of these have the ability to do some scaling where 1:1 will still be processed through the projector though without any scaling.

ok, that's what I wanted to know. I thought the the 1:1 choice through the menu would be the obvious choice but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Thanks
