D-nice break in slides...must be un-interupted?

Can a person buy a plasma and watch it a bit between sessions of D-nice slides and still achieve most of the effects of the D-nice break-in slides? As in, then use D-nice settings for best starting point to a good picture without calibrating?

Well you can do what you want, but it's been made clear that any deviation from his panel aging procedure won't yield the desired results.

I'd say if you're not going to follow his panel aging procedure to the letter, then you may as well just forget running the slides altogether watch the TV normally for a few hundred hours then try his reference settings and tweak them from there.
You guys got a link to his settings/slides? I would like to read up on this if you can get a better picture using his methods.

Ok, fair enough. I guess 100 hours is only 4 days....

I too need direction to the D-nice slides.

I did it to prep for his settings and found I did not like his settings on my ST30. I do not regret doing the panel prep though, as I figure if any fault like green blobs or stuck pixels would present themselves sooner with the slides.

To answer your question though, it depends on how much you watch in between. The more you watch the more you will be off his reference. 4 days aint bad though, I read 2 books during that to pass some time during the work week.
Where does one get the slides? Are they specific to each model?
Do a google search for "hdj breakin 2011 panasonic". Can't miss it.

The proper slides to use are at the top of the D-Nice thread. They're a little hard to find. The link is in red type in the second red paragraph.
I noticed his settings are clearly marked for Pioneer panels. Should the same be used for a Panasonic?

Yesterday, I purchased a TC-50PU54 from Costco and flipped through the channels for a few minutes and then proceeded to break it in using Evangelos slides via a thumb drive.

I haven't stopped running the slides.
