Before I go down the SDI path anyone want to comment on progressive DVD versus SDI equipped DVD thru D-Scaler?
As a properly encoded film DVD is already progressive on the disk and if you have a progressive output DVD player into a 480P capable TV, what if anything does D-Scaler provide aside from aspect ratio control which an authetnic HT buff would never alter anyway.
It would appear a disadvantage to add 3/2 for SDI out only to have D-Scaler pull it back out and risk errors (which WILL happen).
