i was searching on ebay for an HD cable for the wii and saw this cable.

have never seen it before. says D-terminal and im guessing you can only use it if your tv has an input for it but if my tv had the D terminal input would it make a difference using that instead of component even though the wii can only output max at 480P ?

is it better than HDMI as well ?

D-Terminal is for Japanese TVs. From what I've read for the Wii it would send a component video signal with a DIN-like interface instead of RCA thus the Wii cable still outputs at 480p max.

Unless you're moving to Japan I'd stick with the Wii component RCA cable.

I could be wrong and someone with Japanese equipment may have better insight about D-T vs. HDMI.
