Have any of you used the Insta-Theater portable screen? I'm particularly interested in the "Wide Power" fabric which does not appear in other Da-Lite products, only the various portable screens. They describe it as a smooth white acrilic surface with a gain of 2.2 - does it exhibit any color shift in a video application with an LCD projector? What about hotspotting? What about waves using the pneumatic screen support? I'm considering the 100" size.

I use this screen with a Proxima x350. It proabably has too much gain for this DLP. The room lights up from the reflection from the screen. The screen is very convenient. There is some bowing at the edges, but keeping the image 1.5" or so inside the L,R edges works fine.


It is light and easiliy portable.


I would like to see this format in with a screen of about 1 gain with sound pass through capabilties. Perhaps the constant rolling and unrolling puts demands that can be met with thsoe requirements.
