Sorry I didn't see a notice that you posted. I have it all packed up and ready to ship.Still available? Is it possible to ship?
Ya the problem is that the industry has embraced HDR, so the bright screen really helps. We're getting a new TV that can do 2000 nits, and much of HDR is intended for 1000 nits. Meanwhile projectors are lucky to get over 100 nits with a normal screen. There are several guys on the forums that have kept their HP's specifically for HDR and 3D. The alternative is tone mapping via MadVr or Lumagen.Sorry I didn't see a notice that you posted. I have it all packed up and ready to ship.
I almost don't want to get rid of it after I put up my new screen. I forgot how damn punchy & bright the picture is on this. With my NX9 and high res content, it was close to my LG Oled. I had to bump my projector brightness and contrast up about 15 notches to get it back to near what it was before.
Thanks
I have the same size HP screen with a similar small, bad spot. Mine is near the bottom so not seen, like yours, with scope content. It is a really good screen and made even more relevant now due to HDR.Decided to change screens after all these years with the Dalite HP. It has served me well.
There are a few spots/lines on the screen that you can see when sitting center to the screen and there are bright/whitesh scenes. Otherwise it just blends in. I've included pics of where the spots are and a few others that gives a feeling for the quality of this material (it looks much better in person).
The screen is all packaged up and ready to go - just need to arrange shipping.
Shipping dimensions are 133" x 10" X 10" @ 85 lbs.
Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help in any way.
