this is a 92" wide dalite model c with their super dooper patented CSR feature (controlled screen return)


i think i have maybe pulled it down too far and i cant get it to go back up. it has about 3-4 inches of travel left, which doesn't seem to be enough to disengage the locking mechanism.


anyone got a tip to get this thing back up? couldnt find anything useful on the dalite site. web searches found a few others who had this problem but no real solution. one person mentioned hitting the left end with a blunt instrument which will happen tomorrow if i can't find a more elegant solution.


i'm reluctant to take it down and start taking it to pieces, and it'll be a royal pain in the a$$ to return if i can't retract it.

Mine does this some times. Try pulling it out at a sharp angle, like 45 degrees or so. That works on mine.
