Is it worth to pay more for the delux model B?

It depends on your preferences. Deluxe Model B has CRS system - the screen goes into the case by itself very slowly when

you just release its lower end. You need to "escort" the plain Model B screen to the case like a window sun screen.

As to me, I opted for Model B, pulled out the screen material and put it on the wall. Now I have a permanently mounted screen for a third of the price. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

Deluxe has the tensioned arm on the back side. Some people complained that arm only adds wrinkles.

Do a search on screen forum on this matter.

Thanks for your information. I'm worry that the fabric mounted on the model B will be wrinkled after a period of time. So I'm considering to get the delux version.

CKL, I own a Dalite Model B screen. It has been "permanently" mounted in the screen down position for the past 1 1/2 years. I have not experienced any wrinkles or curling of material edges. I had the same concerns you now have when I was making the purchase but I am very satisfied with my screen. Just my two cents worth. I hope it helps.

Thank you for your input. Your experience sounds good but I need to pull down and roll up each time. Don't know if it will incur wrinkles.
