I've recently purchased a second hand daMat fastfold screen. When I assembled it, I was pretty surprised to see how much tension exists in the screen. These may seem like pretty dumb questions but here they go.

1: Is it o.k. to leave the screen up as a fixed screen? Should I worry about the screen losing it's tension?

2: The screen isn't perfectly flat, has some creasing, can this be fixed smoothed?

3: How does one clean this screen? It has a few dirty spots here and there. What cleaner and tool should I use to clean the screen? When I mean tool, I'm refering to sponge or cloth, ect..

I recently pick-up one of these screens. I have the exact same questions. Does anybody have any input?

I have one of those. I have had it mounted and tensioned for 2 years now. Any creases gradually went away. No problems leaving it that way. Cleaning? Never have, so I don't know about that.

Thank you for you input Marc. I really got a little worried about how many creases were in that thing when I took it out of the road case. It was sitting in storage at work for more than three years. This week it was left out for permanent storage so I grabbed it. 10' X 7.5'. That thing was really hard to snap onto the frame! But it did straighten out quite well. Unfortunately my little ECP 3101 isn't exactly the right PJ for the job. Geez....last year they dumped the PJ that went with it in the dumpster.

:-(
