I would, but I'm playing with too much other stuff right now... moome and snazzio.

Kal?
I'll do it. I've been playing with it just now.

What do we want to call it, and what goes in it?

My thoughts are one map strictly for Calibration, repair and help, and another group map if you want for all the CRT members to be listed.

Any thoughts?

I haven't even looked at it yet, but can you have groups or push-pin color-coding for Sony, Barco, Electrohome, NEC, Ampro, and other?

I don't see a way to color code, but you can add pictures and links. You still have to hover and click a push-pin to see what it's there for.

Oh great, now we will no longer have to guess where raster lives, assuming he has the nads to post it ;)

Chip

P.S. One good thing, there's only three digital owners in the whole state of MA :p
Everyone put Rasters ZIP code & address in, hopefully all the night stalkers will go pay him a visit

Raster? Nads? Now THERE's an oxymoron if I ever heard one!!!
I like the idea, I've added myself.

nice, I've added myself. Just a thought: It might be good for people upload a photo of just their projector or model (I've done so myself). This way we can get a photo to go along with the projector people own. If people start uploading pictures of a bunch of random PJ's it just gets a bit confusing  It's a shame that a photo doesent show up with each person's push pin.
So who's admin - poolboyclay or newbiedan?

Give me admin rights and I'll be European Vice President :D We need to cover the clock H24.
I am the admin for the $3500 Map.

There is not a whole lot you can do in the lines of "admining" You just set the zipcode where the map is centered and name the thing. I take a look every once in a while to boot someone is posting an offensive pic or comment. I have yet to find an offender.

It's pretty cool. I think we have 125 members on my map and that SVS map that Art mentioned is growing like crazy. There is also one avalible for HSU Subs.

Good times :)

It can be done (in addition to an avatar) - see my pushpin. Just "shoutout" a link to the picture instead of plain text. I found out by trial and error that the picture you "shout" needs to be 200 pixels wide or less. The avatar size is 160 x 160.

AND you can refine the pushpin location on the map. E.g. I entered London and the pin was initially stuck in the centre of London. I edited this (by draging the pin) and it's now stuck in the chimney of my house! :D

Way cool! :)
is there a real fast "snatch and grab" trying to take a crt off someones celing? Well i guess thats why i own a gun, and have insurance.
