From what I remember from seeing this movie in theaters, it will be very grainy in some places (not a problem for me). But I also remember that due to being a low-budget movie, the special effects were somewhat obvious, and I think that they will be even more fake loooking on HD DVD.
The make-up on the other hand was pretty good. Nevertheless, it's a definite buy for me.

I've always disliked the title of this movie character. Couldn't they have come up with something a little more original than "Dark Man". You can't go through life introducing yourself as the "Dark Man" and expect people to keep a straight face. Good movie though.

I never picked Darkman up on DVD. I have all three on LD, though.
