Hello,

When I upgraded all my A/V equipment recently I ordered all my interconnects from Parts Express and I've used them ever since. I've used their RCA A/V cable, component cable, digital coax cable, regular audio cables, and various speaker connections and all did what they were supposed to very well at a comparatively cheap price. The only reason I initially bought that brand was to spare expense and also because I read of others that tried and liked their brand. They're well made, thick, shielded, and good looking. I haven't done any scientific testing on various brands costing much more but from what I've seen, at least with my decent A/V equipment, that my eyes and ears didn't hear or see a $$$ difference worth it. Try them, I think you'll be happy in the end and spend the money you save on DVDs.

I'll second that they are of high quality. Similar to the mid-level AR (Acoustic Research) cables that tend to sell for around $20-25 a cable - note this is a step up from the AR standard grade cables that go for around $10-$12. Highly recommended.

One more thumbs up!

I bought one of their low priced optical cables (about $10, I think), and was pleasantly shocked by the build quality. This think looks like one of the boutique brands that seels for insane amounts of $$$.

Yup, me three. I used them for audio connections between DVD-> ICBM->5.1 ins on AVR. I also bought COAX and Toslink cables. All work fine, sound good and are solidly built.

I must've spent that much too the first time I upgraded equipment and another $1000.00 > (total so far) whenever I put together a system for a friend or family member. Rest assured, you made a wise investment; You could've spent a lot more but would've gotten marginal results I think.

He could have spent that much on a freakin' power cable!

Not being a "cables make a difference" kind of guy, I think he made a very wise choice. The only attribute that I consider when buying a cable is build quality. All the rest of the hype is just that; hype.

Spend your cash were it matters, Software (DVDs, CDs, DVD-As, SACDs), then Speakers, then Electronics.
