Guys,


Any DLP darkchip 3 projectors out their with Len's shift for under 3k?


I can't seem to locate any, the closest I have come is the BenQ PE 8720, but that seems to be 5k or so...

Maybe not true lens shift but the Optoma H78 has a limited lens shift function.

i believe that the optoma hd7100 is a dc3 with lens shift. it doesn't have much shift but its well below $5k thats for sure

I was looking at the 7100, but the only problem with it is, no hdmi input.. but I guess I can always get an adapter, I have seen it sold online very south of $3k

you really dont even need HDMI in a projector, there is no audio in them. All you need is a DVI to HDMI cable (if your dvd is HDMI)

I would read the HD7100 thread before I considered (I was and did) this unit. It appears to have some issues. I believe it is a re-badged projector and not one Optoma built.

This is a market somebody should get into. I think it would make a killing for some manufacturer to go this route.
