Can someone post me a link to DCT 3416 or 3412 Driver, I just recieve a new 3416 box today from a 6412 and now my driver wont work with the Cap software, thank you.

Did you every get a reply to your question or find the driver that you were looking for?


I have a Motorola DCT3416 box from Comcast but there is also a label on the back that says it's a DVR 3412, so I guess I'm a little confused as to what I really have and what driver I need.


I am running Vista Home Premium and trying to pull previously recorded programs off to my PC. I can't seem to find any drivers for this. What OS are you running?


Where did you get your previous driver for the DCT3412? Can you send me the link?


When you had the DCT3412, were you able to pull off HD recordings off or your DVR?

I have tried all the drivers I can find, but none of them seem to work with 64-bit Vista - the drivers aren't even recognized as an STB device in Vista 64-bit, so they obviously won't install.


Has anyone got this working on 64-bit?

I need the vista 64 bit driver for this box set anyone know where could I find it?

From what I can see, there are no 64-bit drivers. Instead, I installed a copy of 32-bit Vista on my second hard drive and I'm dual-booting, just so I can capture on my HTPC. That works.


VMWare server 2.0 would also theoretically work, but I haven't tried that - it works with USB devices, but I'm not sure if a Firewire device would work in the virtual window.


I've also tried on Windows 7 RC 64-bit, but that doesn't work either...

I keep checking every couple of months, but nothing yet.
