I'm having an annoying problem with the DCT5100 provided to me by Comcast (Boston, MA area): if I use the optical audio output, I lose audio/video sync -- the audio trails the video image by about a half second. I'm using the component outputs directly into my TV and the optical output directly into my receiver. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation? My 5100 firmware version is 5.03 (via Diagnostics menus) or 51.22 - 2002 (via regular main menu).

Ugh...like an idiot I hadn't properly set the audio output options in the 5100's main menu. This fixes the audio on some channels but not others...that's even more disconcerting!
