Last night I did my test for dead pixels. I looked at the grey, blue, green and red screens. Saw nothing on them expect the blue. On the blue screen, there was one pixel that was lighter in color than others. Is that a dead pixel?

I am looking at celing mounting the PT-L300U. How is power completely turned off to the unit? Currently I flip a swtich on the side, ater hitting the pweor button on the remote. If you celing mount it, you can't flip the switch obviously. Did you guys run a seperate circuit to the celing mount area or do any of you use extension cord? I thought about placing the projector to the side and using keystoning feature but am concerned that the picture might be degraded a little.

Leaving it in standby shouldn't be a problem.

I'm pretty sure that a dead pixel will show as black, or off, in its native color. Maybe the lighter colored pixel has a spec of dust on it. One of the experts here can give you a definitive answer.

Enjoy your pannie!
