Hi All,

After three months of trouble free operation, last night I noticed a black dot on the screen while watching my Infocus 5700. This wasn't there last time I used the projector. On closer inspection it is a dead pixel. Now that I know its there I keep staring at it! Its really bugging me! Is this something that is fixable under warranty? I had a look on Infocus's site but couldn't see anything about their pixel policy? Being a long weekend here in Australia I haven't spoken to my dealer yet, (being in Australia means I also have to deal with the distributor and not Infocus directly), so any information would be great before I speak with them.

Thanks,

Stephen

Sanyo doesnt replace anything with a dead pixel.

Well I sent my PLV-70 back anyways, and lo and behold I got it back in 2 days with 0 dead pixels.

People working in the company will tell you that they dont replace anything in a proj with dead pixels, but they really do.

I think InFocus covers it in the warrantee anyways, so you should be fine.
