Is there a software solution that allows for decoding of x264 streams by the nvidia 8800gs hardware?


Or is this even possible?


(I know that h.264 is doable using powerDVD I think, but nothing I read about will do hardware x.264)

x264 is simply an implementation of the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC standard, not a separate codec.
