I'm thinking about the Studio 45's as well to replace my Klipsch Quintet speakers (at least across my front soundstage). My basement area is my secondary theater area and I don't have the space for towers or even larger bookshelves. The Quintets are very nice, however, they sound like "small" speakers (because they are) and I'd like to take a step up. I'm thinking the 45's and a matching center channel (or a third 45) would do well.
