So, i've got my HDTV workin awesome now, being driven my my HTPC. I've sort of settled on 960 by 540 as my basic working resolution, and it's just gorgeous. I love it.
My only issue is watching TV via snapstream. I'm deinterlacing using NVDVD and the "blend fields" option, but I still get lot of motion feathering. I'd just go back to letting the Toshiba upres and output a different resolition, except that the picture is INSANELY awesome except for high speed motion, where the feathering is pretty prominent.
I have not been able to get dscaler or ffdshow to work with snapstream yet....
Anyone have any suggestions? Something better than NVDVD that is really plug compatible?
