What is the volume of your room, and the volume of the room(s) that are open to your listening room?

I would not get the Velodyne for HT. It may be OK for music. Below 30hz it falls off rapidly. http://www.data-bass.com/data?page=system&id=67
I think Klipsch are over priced for what you get.
Not sure about the GoldenEar. SVS would probably be the best on the list.
I suggest spending a little time on here and check out some of these ID companies. I think you may find something you may like better. If you can give an idea of what size your room is, if its open, how loud do you listen to movies, and your budget, you will get lots of suggestions. There is a few people on here that has there own favorite companies and may be a little biased, but they will still be good choices. There is a lot of really good subs and until I came on here, most I never heard of. And a few of these even offer a trail period.
