I ordered on Sunday ($1770) and received today. I was not expecting shipment so soon and had planned to cancel the order (all the talk of rainbows and fan noise has me uncertain). If I open the box does anyone know if there is a 15% restocking fee for return of these projectors? If I decide to sell it, I don't think the warranty is transferable and that would be unfair to the buyer.

Man, I just ordered one from dell for $2,112 (20% off). If I woulda known you were going to sell yours, I'd have waited. Therefore, I expect you to open it up. Set it up. and be happy with it young man.

I did open it this evening and I must say it is very impressive for the price and tiny, tiny size. But I will need a few evenings to decide if I want to keep it. My first impressions are all positive except for color and fan. While the picture is colorful, the accuracy of colors (yellows and reds) is a bit off... will need to play more with it. Many won't agree with me but so far I prefer the Sony 10HT overall. This opinion may change as I do more experiments.

the sony looks like a great, no fuss pj once properly tweaked. would loved to have been able to afford it.

besides all the user friendly functions, i always thought i could live with the screendoor and less than optimal black levels a little easier than i could live with headache inducing rainbows. but at $1800, i had to give this a shot.


i'll be looking forward to see if your opinion shifts much in either direction
