___I fell into the Dell Dimension 4400 deal two months ago and for $467.00 shipped, I picked up the DDR based Intel P4 board w/ 4 PCI slots, the 1.6 GHz P4, upgraded to a 40 GB Maxtor DX740, a black 8X CD-RW, and a GeForce2 MX400 w/ TV-out in the process. The price was great but the problem is that the PSU/MB are proprietary, I had to add 256 MB more of Crucial purchased Micron PC2100 to get the darn thing to perform worth a darn and my parents want the Asus CUSL2 w/ a 750E at 1 GHz I built for them back because it was faster …

Yeah I realize that and unless something didn't line up, I was going to do a complete swap of the guts of that machine into another chasis to be used as a web-browsing machine.


The chasis is very cool and would be a very good candidate for an HTPC.
