"Once again thanks for all of your help. I have been watching the postings

on the forum and I just wanted to let you know that all of the orders

including yours will be shipped for the price quoted, that were placed

before they deactivated the projector. Also I wanted to let you know that

the projectors will be back on sale soon but I am not sure what the price

will be. So if you know anyone else that might want one (and it looks like

you do.) Please let them know to keep an eye on the website or they can

contact me and hopefully we can get everyone that didn't get a chance to

take part in the sale, a projector for a still reasonable price."

Cory's a good man. If we can help him out by giving other people his name, we ought to. Looks as if the pj's will be coming, naysayers notwithstanding...

I talked to Cory about the warranty issue and he said "NEC has to honor the warranty." He confirmed with me that it was a full 3 three manufactures warranty. Hope he is right. At least there is starting to be some consistency in the Dell messaging. He also mentioned that he is monitoring this board.

There seem to be a number of people complaining that Dell has unilaterally cancelled their orders. Any comment on that from Cory? Was the cancellation in error? Can those people who had their orders cancelled get them reinstated?

I posted this earlier today:


I just called NECTECH's VSD Customer Service Division and talked to Shaun Harrison at extension 4147 (800-836-0655) and he said that Dell is not a NECTECH Authorized Dealer BUT the 3-Year Warranty will be fully honored by NEC for the LT150 being purchased from Dell.


If any of you call NEC or Dell, please keep track of contact information.

I am sure that Cory can only address issues about orders he has handled himself.


I have dealt with Dell many times over the past several years and I have always been very happy with the handling of my orders and service requests (with Dell Laptops).
