Dell W3201C or Samsung LN-S3251D

I am considering one of these two LCD TV's. I have been reading and reading about a lot of differant LCD TV models in the 32" size. I will be using this TV for my computer room. It will be for my Xbox 360, PC monitor, and several other gaming consoles. (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, 3DO, Dreamcast...)


Which one should I go with?


Considering the Dell has a higher refresh of 16ms and the Sammy lower with 8ms and the Dell has a contract ratio of 1000:1 and the Sammy is 4000:1 I think the Sammy is the better choice.


The Dell is an older set that is still selling for more than it should be.


I have a Dell 2005FPW 20.1" LCD for my PC too, so using the TV as a monitor is not that big of a deal, but it would be nice for PC gaming.

I bought a Westinghouse LTV-32w6 at Best Buy on Thursday. I don't care for it. I am returning it Monday. I bought a Samsung LN-S3252D (white) yesterday online. I like the white one a lot. Matches my Xbox 360 which is what it's primary use will be.

Good choice , as i said in the other thread i ordered a black 51'd. Can't wait for it to get here.

Yeah, at the Best Buy store the Sammy's looked the best to me but were so expensive at the store. I found a better deal online and bought the Sammy. Returning the Westy this week. Maybe today.

Got the Sammy LNS3252D today. I LOVE THIS TV. Everything looks great. Xbox 360, DVD, DirecTV HD and OTA HD. This is one sharp looking set. I am glad I got the white one too...
