I have a Delta 410 running five active speakers and I'm having tons of trouble getting things to work properly. Has anyone else gotten a setup like this to work? I'm having trouble controlling the volume while PowerDVD and/or WinDVD outputs in 6 channel. I can move the Master volume on the player, Windows and the M-Audio mixer but nothing happens...it just plays at full blast. Please help!

Thanks,

Kevin.

Kevin,

What version of the Delta drivers are you using?

You should be using the 27 Final 2 version posted at http://www.digitalconnection.com/Support/support8.htm

Enable the Bass Management filter and use the master volume control in the bass management tab.

Wow...now that's what I call prompt support.

Much better! Seems to be working now...I'm getting the proper output to each speaker.

Why doesn't the volume control inside the DVD player work? I can use the one on the Bass Management tab, but it sure would be handy if software worked as well. Also, the Master Volume on the Monitor Mixer page doesn't seem to actually control all the channels...

Many thanks,

Kevin.

14 minutes to answer? I've been faster! ;)

Because it only knows about the Windows volume control, not the Delta volume control.

You should leave all volume settings at max in client software and don't enable the Monitor Mixer in the Delta Control Panel.

You can use the individual channel volume controls on the Hardware Settings tab to balance you individual speaker levels.
