Where I live I get KCBS HD (LA) but not perfectly reliably. So I figured I could get it off Dish for the cost of local channels ($4.99). However on the technical chat they mentioned that WCBS HD NYC would be on 61.5 and KCBS HD LA would be on 148. I currently get 61.5 but could relatively easily switch to 148. Now, however, if I switch to 148 to get KCBS HD I will lose the demo channel and such special items like the Cubs broadcast.


Anyone else have any thoughts about this?


I guess I will work harder at getting KCBS HD better.

I just added locals waiting to get CBS HDTV. I'm in Santa Clarita, Canyon Country to be exact so offf air is simply out of the question though I tried.


They told me the feed would be on 61.5. But then this was aCSR at 12:00am Your post however makes sense. Why put west coast feeds on an east coast bird.


I'm actually excited. Now I have an excude for my 5th dish! I just hope 61.5 and 148 can coexist with a SW64 switch.
