demo days added

I see they've added some locations and dates to Demo Days - so if you missed them before (like me) now's your chance!

1. Just call before you go. They were no-shows at 3 of 4 places I looked.


2. They really ought to fix that link in the press release. It's been broken since they posted it.


3. That guy on their home page scares me.
Wow, that's a lot of people to do demos! I will be off the weekend of the 18th, and I will go check one out. Replay Logan, can you confirm that there will be Replay personnel at all these locations? Replay's attendance record has been spotty in the past. Replay schedules for a weekend, but shows up during the week, etc.

How to catch customers? Although I'm sick of this being the ONLY thing talked about on PTV TV ads, it would seem screaming "pause LIVE TV" would be a way to get attention to this new product.

Sorry Revemeup, professional secrets. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif Actually, it now seems to me that the Tivo commercials are working. When I ask if they have heard of Tivo, they say yes, but don't know what it does. Voila, instant sales pitch!

Just make sure you stress the "No Monthly Fees". If you let them know about the 800 #, To Do List, and using during the phone call, it might not go as well. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif


Seriously now, try to sell to their lifestyle. Don't stress sports instant replays to the mother of an infant: tell her she can tend to her child and not miss a moment of her show. Tell the mom of young children that there is always an episode of Blues Clues ready and waiting. Tell the financial analyst he can speed read thru the stock ticker, and pause it when he wants. You get the idea.
