Please help, bit of a newbie


I have surround speakers and either one of these amps will be overkill, but down the road i'll upgrade


Is there any big differnces in these amps? There is a great sale on the onkyo tomorrow (Canada) so other than walking in and listening to both is there any major differnces, reliability?Issues?


I think the onkyo may have more HDMI inputs, but I only have the PS3 and digital cable box

Both are decent AVRs. The major item that stands out for me is the Denon has Audyssey MultEQ and the Onkyo has Audyssey 2EQ. MultEQ is by most accounts much better at room correction.
