I'm looking for a $500 reciever to use in my home theater. My other components are will be a 50" lg plasma and the wf-35 klipsch surround sound speaker system along with a blu ray player. Any suggestions? I see a lot of talk about the denon 1910 and the elite vsx03 is around the same price.

I'd go with the Denon. Denon still puts a solid amp section in their receivers whereas Pioneer has started skimping. Also, Audyssey beats MCACC in my opinion.
hands down pick the elite vsx03
Pio has just started to use cheaper amps on the 09's. Last years Elites are great.
