I was wondering which would be the better player of the 2?Does the 2200 have the chroma bug or y/c delay like the 3800?Just confused tryin to keep up with all this stuff/lol.Thanks for any input!!!

The 2200 have the CUE but only in pal and it's very little (= same video as the 2900). I don't think it has the Y/C delay.


I'm buying the 2200 as soon as it will be available in black in EU

3800 is the better player (Y/C delay is easily correctable), in a different league than the 2200 (both audio and video).


3800 is DVD-A only. 2200's advantage is support for SACD.

Looks like the 3800 is the way to go compared to the 2200.Now does the 3800 justify replacing a panasonic xp30?
