Denon 2910, 720P & PAL

I watched one of the PAL disc last night with 2910; DVI at 720P, the scaling looks quite bad. I am using it with a 720P DLP projector and the DVD player is set to NTSC (under monitor setup). Is there any specific setup I need to make?

If your pj can accept 720p @ 50hz rather than 720p @ 60Hz this solution will give you the best pq:- Set the 2910 to Auto, rather than NTSC.


With it set to NTSC, the 2910 is converting from PAL @ 50Hz to NTSC @ 60Hz and then sending out the signals.
