Denon 3805 and Velodyne DPS 12 Crossover Setting

I finally (finally!!!) got my whole surround system set-up, just in time to blow away all the relatives coming in for the holidays. One question I have, and I know I should know the answer, is the crossover function for my subwoofer. I have my Denon 3805 set at 80 Hz. Should I also have the Velodyne set at 80 Hz, some level lower than that, or should I turn the knob all the way to "direct", so that the Denon is the only crossover being used?

Also, what Hz setting would you recommend for the subwoofer? My fronts are Infinity Kappa 400s, and I have them set to "large".

I want to get maximum bass, so please help if you can. Thanks!

Beckster,

You are on the right track, set the crossover on the 3805 to 80Hz, set the Velo to direct and your main speakers to small... Enjoy :)
