Denon 3806

I recently hooked up my entire 5.1 surround sound system. The reason I am only pushing that is because I want a separate set of speakers to run on the "B" set up. I want to run this set up as regular stereo sound with outdoor speakers. Which is the best way to accomplish this??? I tried assigning them on Zone 2 but only would go to -20 db. Putting them in the surround sound b did not roduce the volume I wanted and I could not set them to only play the outside speakers withou the inside speakers playing... ?????????????/
