Denon 5308CI (A) Considering upgrade

390 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  JJI1a
I currently have a Denon 5308CI which I also had the upgrade Kit put in . The receiver has been rock solid and I have enjoyed it . now some years have passed and I was considering possibly upgrading the the unit more of a want then a need. But looking at the current Denon lineup it doesnt really appear they still have a flagship unit or am I missing it ? What would be a good replacement unit ? I would say I'm 90% Movies/TV and 10% music

Current Setup:
Denon 5308CI (A)
Pioneer 151Fd ( I may upgrade this is I can find suitable replacement here also. Want to go larger)
Def Tech Super Towers
Def Tech Super Cube Reference
Def Tech Mythos 10 (Center )
Def Tech Mythos Gems XL (surround )
Panamax M5400-PM

Thanks in advance for any feedback

If you have the Audyssey XT32 upgrade installed it depends on whether you want to get into the new 3D surround modes: Dolby Atmos and Auro 3D and DTS:X. If not, you'll likely want to just hold off a few more years.
