Anyone using M&K speakers with a Denon 5600. The M&k's I'm buying are the S-150 and SS-150. The speakers are 4ohm and the receiver is a 8ohm unit. Denon says not to go below 6ohm. Anyone using thiers at 4ohm and if you are how's it going.

I have the Denon 5700 running with these exact speakers for the past 18 months without any problems at all.

I have to tell you that you are on the right track with this set up.

I have upgraded my speakers many times including Missions, Kef's etc etc and found that all these so called Hi Fi speakers just sound too soft. The M&K's are fantastic...They sound so clean its like they are directly wired to the DVD/CD.

Get the M&K 150 or 350 THX sub to go with this set up as they are a perfect match.

When my dad came to watch a movie a few weeks ago, I had the voloume so high the air pressure blew of his moustache....M&K are the best.
