Greetings:
Well, much to my surprise, the Denon AVR-5700 has a significant design flaw. I may not explain this quite as succinctly or eloquently as I should but here goes.
The unit does hot have the ability to accept inputs from an equalizer. It has pre-amp outs, but no pre-amp ins (I think that's how it's explained). So, you're screwed if you want to connect the unit to say, a THX Equalizer, because there's no way to get the output of the Eq back into the receiver.
Now, I suppose that there might be a work-around that requires modification of the unit, and I know someone is actually looking into it, but come on now! How could Denon be so short sighted, so stupid?
Does anyone else out there (I know Jeff K. is) affected by the problem? Has anyone talked to Denon about it?
Best Regards,
Darryll
