Trying to program a Directv remote to operate the Denon AVR 1610 volume. Can't find the right code to enter. Does anyone know the 5 digit code to enter on the Directv remote for the AVR 1610 code?

Try the first code which is 31360. I have a Denon 989 and 591 and both work with the same code. The 989 is a model 1 year earlier than yours and the 591 is one year after. So I have a hunch the code will work with your 1610 also.


Are you positive you are doing the setup procedure properly?

I tried that code as well as numerous others that were in the manual. Positive that I followed the setup procedure, the lights were flashing as they should to verify.
