I just (a week ago) got this receiver and I love it, except for one very annoying problem...every once in a while (two maybe three times an hour) the sound just totally cuts out (while watching TV). All I have to do is change the channel and change it right back and it is fixed, but it frustrates the hell out of me.... Any ideas?????? thanks in advance

This is likely a handshake issue which is quite common with cable boxes. Several things you can try are: (a) disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable both to the AVR and to the TV, (b) try each of the other HDMI jacks on the 1910, (c) replace the HDMI cable from the cable box to the 1910.

For more information or questions on your new AVR 1910, check out the 1910/790 Owners Thread.
