Both of these receivers have very similar features, and the same rated wattage...both can be had for great deals right now. Audioholics and CNET both gave good reviews to the Yamaha, not finding much in the way of professional reviews on the Denon...
Using it to push 4 Magnepan MMGWs and a MMGC center (all 5 ohm speakers)
