hey guys.


i have a problem with my amp, i can turn it on but no sounds comes out and the display is pitch black. it is broken ?

It could be but it could also just be hung up internally. These new receivers are like computers and sometimes act funny until you "Reset" them.


So, you need to try a microprocessor rest. The owners manual will explain how to in the trouble shooting guide. If you need the owners manuel download it here. http://usa.denon.com/US/Downloads/Pa...ionManual.aspx


Look specifically for "Microprocessor reset" and do what it says. Usually a combo of buttons to hit...


Just know that YOU WILL LOSE ALL OF YOUR SETTINGS and Audyssy Calibration.


If that doesn't work check your reciept. The warranty is 2 years from date of purchace.

Try resetting the microprocessor (p. 64) as well as blowing compressed air into the headphone jack.
