Denon AVR-2808/3808 vs. Pioneer LX-50/60

I have always been a Pioneer customer. Using their products, I have always received good performance and value for money.

I currently have a Pioneer ELITE amp/receiver that I purchased late in 2000 and it's time for an upgrade.

I see that the Denon 3808 has been getting plenty of attention of late.

I am interested in 'AVS Forum' users thoughts and opinions... should I go down the Pioneer LX path, or is the Denon 2808/3808 path better?

I'm interested to know!!??
