I have a Denon AVR-3806 Receiver - Home Theater System. I accidentally hit a button on the remote control and now I do not have sound. I have a picture, but no sound. This happened before, and I called Denon Technical Support and they told me over the phone what to do and got the sound back in less than 5 minutes. However, it is a weekend and I can't contact Denon until tomorow (Monday). I think is had something to do with the Exit In button or mode (Auto), I can't remember. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.

Press the INPUT MODE button on the remote until it reads AUTO.

Thank you for your help!!! This is driving us crazy! I did what you said and there is still no sound. I guess I will have to wait for tomorrow to call Denon again. I did appreciate your answer. Liz

Jp, have you tried unplugging power the 3806 for a minute, then plugging it back in...

Also, does your front display say (Ext. In) anywhere?
