You can find the same deal at most Magnolia Stores, inside of Best Buy. This is for their annual March Madness sale, and this year Denon is on sale!

This deal was at the Santana Row, San Jose, CA Best Buy and runs through April 2nd.

You can pick up the Denon AVR-4520I for $1499.99 USD, or the AVR-X4000 for $999.99 USD

For the minimal price difference, extra Zones, and extra power, extra amps, I went with the 4520, and I couldn't be happier.

Must be instore only, I checked my bestbuy/magnolia out, and it was 999. So I bought one...

This deal is confirmed! I just went down to my local BB and snagged this deal. It was $1499.98. The BB magnolia tech said that the deal should be available online, it's just that the sale price won't show until you are fairly far in the order process (confirmation page right before paying most likely).

Should be here on Saturday!

I just tried online and it still shows $2499 and I went through the entire purchase up to the credit card point.

I can confirm this deal. Went to the local best buy after a long time (4+ years) and was pleasantly surprised to the see the level of customer service. The Denon was on display and marked at $1499, would have picked it up in a heart beat if I did not have the X4000

got some Jamo 360 S25 instead....they are on sale too..

I called all the local best buys. Found one with a demo/floor model for $1350. What are people's opinions about buying floor models?

I bought a Marantz floor model awhile back from BB. You still get the full warranty with an open box so I don't see a problem with it. Sometimes with those floor models the remote or box or other accessories are missing. You'll have enough time to play with it and return it if you find a problem. Most likely there won't be one.

When I asked him to check, he said they didn't even sell the 4520 only thru there marketplace vendors and it wasn't the $1499. I'm sure he was mistaken, maybe had something to do with he didn't check specifically in Magnolia. The rep was on the regular floor? Don't know.

I was at the Best Buy in Springfield, IL last Wednesday. They had the 4520 for $1499, x4000 for $999, x3000 for $699, x2000 for $649 (was not on sale) and the x1000 for $349. They were all marked the sale prices. I believe the sale was supposed to end April 5.

Ok, thanks!

I walked from the entrance to the back where the Magnolia section was. Went through the front, looked at the receivers and speakers in one room, went to the other room and browsed a minute or two and then walked along the back aisle of the regular BB section around the TVs on the wall.

Not one person asked me if I needed help or had any questions.

Not one person was even in the Magnolia section.

Guess I'll have to try a different one and or ask around next time.
