Now that I have the nevo c2 and I am playing with this receiver I am testing it in any way I can. The concept of pure direct is intriguing, but I cant seem to be able to select it. Or more specific its not there. I am thinking I either dont have it set up correctly or like dd, only available at certain times.

Btw I am trying to play music through my panasonic dmp-bd605. I also believe I tried through my cable box ( music channels). I also currently have it set up with hdmi and optical. I was trying to see if I could run sound thru opt and video thru hdmi, but the pure direct is not there either way.

I have no personal experience with it but it seems like it has 41 programmable keys. It should just be a matter of programming one of them to do the job.

On the 887 remote the PURE button is on the back behind the hidden panel.

So its another button instead of a setting on the function dial. So I assume I put on direct, then press pure? Why wouldnt it just be like the others, neo, stereo, direct and whatever. I will work on this, thanks.
