My stereo all of the sudden is displaying 5.1 and should be 7.1 when I push the 7.1 button. Can someone tell me what I need to do? The manual is very difficult for me to get around


Also, I want to set up my surround speakers. How can I get to the point to set the them. I am trying to get to the the place that it sends out tones so I can use my audio meter and set the speakers

Insert the Audyssey mic into the mic input on the front panel which should start the Audyssey setup process to config the new speakers into your setup.

Neither one worked. I did get the tones to come up but that was with the mic in or out. Still 5.1 system. It says speakers a are not playing on the front

When I plugged in the mic nothing happened and my 7.1 is not back. I only have 5.1 when I push the 7.1 button.


I can get the test tones to go around the room but as a simulation. It does not stop for me to make any adjustments.

Try resetting the microprocessor (p. 42 OM).
