Yesterday I placed an order for brand new AVR-x4500h at Safe and Sound for $975.00!! I had called for a refurbished unit that was listed for $950.00 and they offered me the new one for $25 extra.
Excellent deal!

Do you have contact information for them or is this their website?
The price for AVR-X4500h is listed as $1500.00 on the safeandsound website (or lower for the refurb units). So you need to call and talk to the salesperson to get you the deal. Shipping is free and there is no tax. I paid $975 for the brand new unit. It was shipped today per their email this morning.

No one waits for the Fry's $750-800 deals on this unit any more?

Based on my latest visits and others on this forum Fry’s seems to be literally 100% out of stock on all Denon products.

I was at my local Fry's last week. They didn't have any Denon products left or hardly any AVR's at all. Either they're going thru a re-org or going bankrupt. Slim choices on TV's too.

If you want Klipsch speakers or Samsung TV's they have plenty of those but no LG or Sony TV's.

Fry's looks like a ghost town now. Few customers and little inventory.

Too bad because during their 20% off in store coupon deal you could get the x3500 for $365 and x4500 for under $700
