Hey all,

I started lurking here a month or so ago while researching equipment for my new setup. Part of my purchase was a Denon AVR1910. I made the jump to high def (DirecTV) and wanted to also incorporate an existing SD receiver (DVR R10). That receiver has no HDMI, or component. The highest resolution is s-video. The Denon has an s-video input labeled VCR (iPod). I can't figure out how to use this port with my DVR R10. I can use the OPT-1 and composite video and it works, but I get no picture when plugged into the s-video port. I'd like the better resolution of s-video for the Samsung LN55B650.

Am I able to use that port, or is it strictly an iPod dock?

TIA

if its all plugged into your receiver, then HDMI goes to the TV the receiver can do upconversion from analoug to HDMI (up to 1080p)
