Maybe this is common
Disney's widescreen version of "Holes" played in DVD5900, viewed on a 61" Sammy DLP via DVI @ 720p I noticed the "video" looked angled or crooked at the top only, straight across the bottom though. To save time I used a tape measure and the film was 29 1/16 " on the right end and 29 5/8 " on the left. Now I didn't count all those pixels but I moved the "video" up and down via the 5900 pic adj control and the bottom was square and there definitely appeared to be more information or poor processing on one end. Has anyone got a fix for this or is it common? It's going to be one of those things that if you didn't ever see it, well ok, but once you do, like the macroblocking thing, slight lip sync, rainbows etc, it becomes easy to notice. Any experiences, solutions or causes known?
